That night we went to the ward chili cookoff/carnival. We didn't stay too long becuase Grayson wasn't too happy with just sitting in one place or being held. He wanted to run all over the place and didn't want to have anything to do with sitting to eat or standing in line for the fish pond or cake walk. The other kids got a few activities in then we left for home. I think the kids enjoyed it but for me it was just a little too much work. No pictures were taken since I knew we would be in costume a few more times......
Thursday it was Colton and Abigail's turn to dress up for school and have parties. They couldn't wait to wear their new costumes, they were pretty excited for the day.

Later that afternoon we headed over to the school to help out in Colton's class. We made spider suckers and cute foam ghosts. The kids seemed to have a fun time. After class we headed to the gym to wait for the kids to parade around in their cosutmes. There were some really cute costumes. So fun to see all the kids dressed up, having fun.
After school hurried home, changed then headed back for parent teacher confrences. Both their teachers said they were doing great. Abigail however needs to work a little on listening and not gabbing so much, which wasn't a big suprise what so ever. She is my social girl and sometimes can't control herself. Colton's teachers said the same as his teachers in the past. He is a good happy kid and is such a good friend to all the kids and a great helper. Love him! Hm, Now, how to get him to be like that at home......
After meeting with the teachers we returned home and got ready to head to Kamas with Shauna to see the girls dance. It was fun to see the girls and dad for a minute. The dances were cute and program short. We made it back home by 9pm just in time to get to bed.
The next day we had off school so we took it easy at home, played with friends then got dressed up again to head to Squires annual office trick or treat. It's always fun to go to Squire to see the decorated offices and the fun costumes. We dropped of a bucket of candy at Dave's office then went around collecting from the other offices. We got way too much candy, but the kids loved it.

Below is a picture of Cole and Abi with the Chipman kids, Trent, Tyler, and Kara. (these pictures are blurry cuz Gray had the camera and was playing with it after eating a yummy sucker, sticky fingers all over the lens).

Now, on to the BIG Halloween day.....
Kids couldn't wait to trick or treat, we had all day to hang out and prepare for it but man 5 o'clock hit fast. I had plenty of time (all day) to prepareand get ready, but nope, we were still struggling to get out the door with all our stuff. I didn't get dinner in, we forgot our fun flashing lights and jackets. It was such a beautiful day but once the sun went down it was chilly. With Halloween on Sat I had thought about going to Vernal to experience "Witches Night" at my moms, but the kids didn't want to miss trick or treating in our neihborhood with their cute friends. So we stayed......

Our neighorhood is so fun to trick or treat, it is so fun to see all the kids running around and it's fun to stop along the way and visit with people. We didn't even get to half the housees, but man they collected some candy. Fun was had by all.

After we all returned we ate some noodles and headed to Randy and Jays to say hello to them and of course collect a halloween treat (carmel ball and candy). What a night, what a week!
